The mission of Garden Gnome Plantscapes is to create fair and respectable employment while using eco-friendly approaches, historical traditions, and modern horticultural science to serve as stewards of the gardens of New Orleans.

• Offering fair living wages

• Providing work uniforms, safety equipment, and tools

• Using electric rather than gas power tools

• Using native plants and flowers that feed local pollinators

• Using non-native but traditional New Orleans plants

• Repurposing plants and reusing materials when possible

• Working preferentially with other small local businesses
